Description

The spotlight has been bright, not necessarily kind to former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

According to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, 71% of Americans do not feel that Palin is qualified to be President. That includes a sharp drop in Republican support, where 45% believe she is qualified compared to 66% who thought she was last fall.

Overall, 37% have a favorable view while 55% have an unfavorable view of the former Alaska Governor.

Palin has been able to count on support from the Tea Party, but the Washington Post indicates that the movement itself has split favorability and is poorly understood:

Nearly two-thirds of those polled say they know just some, very little or nothing about what the tea party movement stands for. About one in eight says they know "a great deal" about the positions of tea party groups, but the lack of information does not erase the appeal: About 45 percent of all Americans say they agree at least somewhat with tea partiers on issues, including majorities of Republicans and independents.

The movement's supporters were identified as, "overwhelmingly white, mostly conservative and generally disapproving of Obama."

If Palin intends to become a key player in Washington, she would share something in common with those already there. The poll also shows that two out of every three Americans are "dissatisfied" or "angry" at the federal government. That's the worst result for Washington in nearly 14 years.

In another revealing question, the poll found that taxpayers estimate 53% of their money is "wasted."

There is no way she would be elected president. Not only is she unqualified, she is way to polarizing.

Some NeoCon told me that if Sister Sarah (he called her Sarah Palin) was so empty headed and of no substance, why did she have such a following. As NO one would be paying any attention to her if she was such a stupid person.

I repiled "I have two words for you: Paris Hilton"

Since she is essentially George W. Bush with a twat and a little less IQ, it was only a matter of time before the US opinion of her dropped, just like it did for Bush.

What does the Bernanke standard have to do with this? Bernanke has no standards and should be in jail. That Obama would support such a man shows clearly that he takes his orders from Wall Street and will do everything to protect the Bush regime. He will also take the hit for the dollar going down the toilet and introducing the Amero.

Well, you know what you get when you mix Sarah's brains with her vision of World Peace.

The more she is exposed to the public, the higher her unfavorable view will go. As far as the Tea Party Movement, check out this poll on FOX. 77% of the voters think they are a "fruitless mix of racism, conspiracy theories". (138,759 votes) http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2010/02/09/think-tea-party-movement/

She is full of all kinds of criticism, but has also shown that she has very limited knowledge of anything. Her unwillingness to be taught was evident in her few actual interviews. SHe complained that it was "gotcha" journalism when she was asked what newspapers she reads. She complains that everyone is out to get her, but is constantly on the attack using overblown and untrue catchy phrases and scare tactics added to her "cutsey" and "homsey" winks and blinks. She has proven that she has a very limited world view and that she is unwilling to learn. It got her into trouble when she was a vice presidential candidate by refusing to be "handled" by her "handlers". She could have easily been prepped, but she refused. Thus showing how little she understood of how little she knows. She appeals to a group of equally unpleasant, barely literate, hypocritical bible thumpers like herself that spews family values but truely have none.

Aww... Just because she didn't qualify for Graduate school after getting her BA degree in Sports Reporting?
Or is it her general ignorance about the world?
Or, because they want someone with experience who isn't a quitter?

Well duh....although it's frightening that 29% of Americans might think Palin is qualified to be President. The Tea Party is also dead since she got involved as its spokesperson. The Independents who began the tea party movement will never fall in lock step with the likes of Palin and the neo-con circus the tea party movement has evolved into. That pretty much ruined the third party momentum that the Libertarians began. No true Libertarian would come within 1,000 feet of the tea party movement now that it has revealed itself as a racist and small minded klan.

Now that we know she is not qualified...we need to make sure she stays far far away from the White House. Her interview the other day was scary. She wants to go to war with Iran and wants more support for Israel. GFG!
