NarcolepticGoat wrote 732 Days Ago (neutral) 0Well, finally some sense from Rep Michele Bachmann? I'm impressed.
I have been going to Star Trek/ Science Fiction Cons for years. The fanbase is not full of rich people. Prices over 50 dollars make fans drop out and they are charging 550? Ain't gonna hack it among the everyday people the tea party claims to represent. 100 is too much.0 pointsstix282 wrote 734 Days Ago (neutral) 0Bachmann is crazier than a loon but finally sees the writing on the wall. Her Pal Sarah only cares about herself yet portrays herself as 'The All American Hockey mom." The cracks in the tea party hopefully will break the cup that it is served in.0 pointsAli wrote 736 Days Ago (neutral) 0Huh! I thought they were all about the free enterprise system and market solutions. Guess not. *snickers*1 pointrichdoll wrote 742 Days Ago (neutral) 0palin is out for herself - you betcha (wink)
who has $549.00 these days that's rent payment2 pointsNarcolepticGoat wrote 742 Days Ago (neutral) 0One reason we are a two party country, it is *hard* to get a third togethere.1 pointJohnny-O wrote 742 Days Ago (neutral) 0That's too bad. I was really hoping for a Palin/Bachman Overdrive ticket for 2012, that would be something for the record books! Any such bumper stickers, buttons, signs and other paraphernalia would instantly gain keepsake status, surely knocking out more antique-worthy baubles from the Wendell Wilkie or Thomas Dewey campaigns; I'm tellin' ya, they would be worth GOLD!!!4 pointsunclepat wrote 742 Days Ago (neutral) 0How do you get paid to speak at a political convention anyway? This chick palin has shown herslef to be more than just a media whore. Now she's actually getting paid to SPEAK? When one nutcase pulls out over concerns about another nutcase's speaking fees, somethings up! Hmmm, I wonder how the clowns in the old neighborhood are defending this.2 pointsMOM wrote 742 Days Ago (neutral) 0LOL, I just love it, this convention is getting funnier as we speak!3 pointsPete wrote 742 Days Ago (positive) 1Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), the welfare princess, is pulling out because of ethical concerns of how the profits will be spent?
The organizers have said if there are any profits after they pay Silly Sarah's speaking fee, that the profits will be used to promote conservative causes. Doesn't Bachmann trust the organizers to tell the truth about what they will do with any profits?4 points
