english.aljazeera.net — The video was filmed in 2001, apparently without Netanyahu's knowledge, during a meeting with Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank. It aired on Friday night on Israel's Channel 10, and several translations have been posted online. At one point on the tape, Netanyahu threatens a "broad attack" against the Palestinian Authority.

msnbc.msn.com — One can't help admiring this new coalition government in Britain. I can not imagine the two polar opposition parties of the US acting like responsible grownups and coming together for the common good of the country. Although there is a vast difference between the Conservative Party of Britain and the GOP party of "cut your nose off to spite your face."

earthblognews.wordpress.com — “Left” vs “Right”, “Liberal” versus “Conservative”. This simple minded paradigm is involuntarily hoisted on Americans by the corporate media while at the same time both parties have sold out the population to the multinational corporations, banks and special interests who run Washington D.C. To think that every American can be divided into one of two simple categories represents a mass delusion concocted and promoted by the media solely for the purpose of distraction and avoidance of discussing real issues that affect all Americans while the country is looted and power is consolidated.

huffingtonpost.com — During an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "Good Morning America," Medvedev said through a translator that Obama was "a thinker," which "distinguishes him from many people." Pressed for details, he demurred. "Obviously I do have someone on my mind. I don't want to offend anyone." The diplomatic answer was an amusing one to Stephanopoulos, who laughed so hard that Medvedev couldn't hold a straight face.

"We would be remiss if we didn't find ways to pursue someone who is a serious threat to this country and has plotted against Americans," the official said. Al-Awlaki, who is believed to be hiding in Yemen, called last month for jihad against America. He said in an audio message that "America is evil."
